As of August 2020, I'm doing Linux systems administration/devops for TSYS/Global Payments.

In the past I've worked for Xerox (on the Xerox Star; see http://www.digibarn.com/friends/curbow/star/), the Computer Emergency Response Team http://cert.org, a now-gone part of the original NSFNet called CICNet, CNN, EarthLink, a small charter school, and SITA (which most people have never heard of, but which handles IT for many of the world's airlines.)

My weblog - very seldom updated is at http://weblog.bluepenguin.us. I did a number of posts in 2019 around my flight training in an attempt to get a pilot's license. (As of 2020, on hold, perhaps permanently.)
