Mark, the Honey Stinger gel must have crystallized. I use them a lot and have never encountered a granular texture. It's just like pure honey...yum!

I'm sure you're right, Caren ... and I didn't mind the graininess, it just seemed a bit weird, like eating a honeycomb! (^_^)
