(Note: The above is slightly edited from words found near the end of --- part of vugraph 37 of a lecture on Statistical Decision Theory by Yu Jiangsheng, Institute of Computational Linguistics, Peking University. What does it mean? I don't know! I was looking for information about Möbius inversion (don't ask!), and one thing led to another. The original poem on Yu's page: "At the end of discussion, / We reach at philosophy, / Where all is meaningless, / Except the belief." Has my attempt to polish the English lost something? I have no idea ... )
